An original game system
Chess geometry with an additional dimension of decisions.
On an 8 × 8 board, each side controls 24 cubes: 16 begin on the board and 8 remain in reserve. A single cube moves like a pawn, while towers 2, 3, 4, and 5 cubes high become a bishop, rook, queen, and king. After the main move, a player may change the structure of their piece by adding the top cube from reserve or returning it to reserve.
